Why this quote?
I believe that it’s HOW we are as human beings with each other that makes a difference in the world, regardless of what work we do or where we come from. I believe that if we all treat each other with respect and kindness that we can achieve amazing things. I’ve seen it! I’ve benefited from being treated that way and been hurt by not being treated that way. I choose to follow the great mentors I’ve been lucky to have. I choose to learn from hurt and rise above it, and never to hurt others. I’ve observed the suffering of others from illness, oppression & discrimination. I’ve been through that myself too. I’m lucky to be alive. I believe that our health should never be taken for granted and I count each day as a blessing.

What can you tell us about this photo?
It was taken when I found an unlocked piano just outside a venue I was about to go in to deliver a presentation on authentic leadership. It’s unposed and shows my love of music and the joy of being able to play.
